What’s the only thing that’s more fun than baking a cake???? Dipping your finger in for a taste of the batter, of course! And our junior chefs had all of that…..learning to make bake, surreptitious dipping of fingers in the batter bowls and LOTS OF FUN!
Our own master chef Elaine took the kids through the recipe…..and excitement was high as ingredient after ingredient went into stirring bowls. Eggs were cracked, butter was weighed, walnuts chopped and flour sifted. Then into the oven….and when the time came to be taken out, mouths were watering!
What better way to spend a rainy day than whipping up a batch of fresh choco-walnut brownies?! Throw in some hot cocoa and a good book….bliss!
