Position: Program Lead: Library in Schools (LiS)
Reporting to: Academic Coordinator and Director
Location: Panjim, Goa

Libraries in School: The Libraries in Schools program (LiS) provides grade-appropriate reading resources to children who are first-generation school-goers and uses the storytelling method to develop thinking and literacy skills.
Key Responsibilities: a) Responsible for planning and executing the annual program plan
- b) Manage end to end relationships with key stakeholders involved with the LiS program. This includes students, teachers, HMs, Principals, SCERT and other government bodies
- c) Undertake administrative tasks pertaining to LiS program
- d) Network and publicise our work under the LiS program on various platforms and in general.
- e) Ensuring timely reporting of LiS sessions on the internal tracking system (within 24 hours of the session is completed)
- f) Organize, attend and provide insights and inputs to monthly meetings/training and study groups.
- g) Write blog posts, social media posts and other write ups for LiS program on bi-weekly basis.
- h) Provide valuable inputs to Donor reporting as well as coordinate donor engagement initiatives pertaining to LiS
- i) Support in Fund Raising Activities
- j) Any other support to the program as and when they arise
Educational Qualification: Bachelors or Master Degree (Education, Social Work, Sociology will be an added advantage)
Knowledge: Knowledge of the Education Landscape in Goa will be an added advantage. Understanding pedagogy will be key.
Language Should know to speak and read English, Konkani or Marathi essential.
Experience: 2+ Years of prior work experience. Prior experience in working with children and engaging with schools will provide a fillip to your candidature.

Remuneration Rs. 25,000 to Rs. 35,000 per month based on qualification and experience
