Shadows and Light. If you’re wondering how a theme like this would pan out, here’s a look at what Isa pulled out of the bag for this session.
Warm up! Shake it out! Tell me you name…with flourish is how we do it in this game! Do a twirl, or hop around, wave your hands or act like a clown!
Now step into the dark room, where you can barely see a thing. Take a seat, settle down….and let the show begin!
Now hear a tale of shadows and light; a family who’s house had no power one night!
And now to create! With paper and chalk! And while they did work, there was alot of talk!
String is wonderful, is it not?! At the end of this drill though, it was quite a knot!
But the kids had fun, and Isa did too! Creativity flowed out as the little ones drew!
And t’was not all that happened in the course of that day, she made sure they had an audio visual display!
And these were the events that happened that day, when the kids with shadows and light did play!
And now this bard (pseudo bard) will put an end to this rhyme, until very soon…you’ll see in time! So come one and come all, to the house with many a book….you won’t leave without taking a second look!
