Change is good 
Our community library space in Chimbel was one of the biggest achievement in terms of being a reading promotion agent for the community. Started some 6 months ago in a rented permanent space, the program has seen good number of children coming in, listening to stories and borrowing books regularly. One of the problem which we had faced was the library room was a little far from the community and children were finding it difficult to stay till the session ends for various reasons.
We decided, we have to move closer to and within the community. We have asked our little reading warriors to look for rooms for us to rent and setup a library, they were excited and we had many leads, and finally we found a room that could house at least 25 of us and our books.
We moved there early this month. Deep in the heart of Indiranagar, Chimbel in Goa there now is a children’s Library, alive and growing.
