Goa.Me and Bookworm organised a Photowalk in Fontainhas. This was the first time we are organising a photowalk, so all of us were looking forward to it.
We met at the steps of Maruti temple. The walk will be starting at the Maruti temple so that we have a top view of the area around and we walk through Fontainhas and go up High court steps so that we have a top view from the other side. It was raining all day and we were hoping rain wont be the spoilsport.
We walked up the steps and started taking pictures. Around 30 of us including 6 children were part of the group. It was nice to everyone enthusiastically getting hold of their cameras and taking pictures of scenery, people, abstract and everything.
We went down the steps and started walking through the alley. Everyone was engrossed in taking pictures, walk was relatively slow; but we were happy that everyone was taking pictures.
We walked through the alley for some time and it rained when we reached near Panjim Inn. So we decided to take shelter in the restaurant and a grab a cup of tea. Some of the attendees had to leave, but the rest of the sat around a table and started talking to each other. Introductions, what were the expectations, what we should do in the future etc. Discussions evolved and we are planning to do more photowalks in the near future. Stay tuned!!!
