Bookworm Trust

It has been two years since our Mobile Outreach Program program got started and as often happens at Bookworm, the children guide us.

Our Chimbel site children have been requesting for a picnic for some time now. School picnics were happening and somehow a Mobile Outreach Program picnic seemed like the order of the day. So we succumbed, we went back and forth on dates and eventually found a day and time that suited most and off we set.

Saturday 6th April, 2013

Venue- Cacra Beach, Goa

MOP sites – Chimbel, Cacra and Chicalim

Games in charge – Edy

Snacks in charge – Edy

Transport – Each site RPs

We had 60 children from 3 sites all converge on a patch of heaven. Cacra has that quality and despite the children not being too sure what would come from the picnic, they participated so actively, played so sportingly, ate, drank, got their feet wet and their hearts glad at our MOP picnic.

It was a good day!

Thank you everyone who made it possible.

As always thank you to the children who enrich our lives by allowing us to be part of theirs.
